Workplace stress & resilience coach — helping organisations manage pressure, strengthen resilience and improve performance through corporate talks, workshops and coaching.
I've spent years around customers and colleagues sometimes having difficult conversations and real-world exposure to pressure. I have learned much about conflict and human behaviour under strain that no textbook gives you. Some years ago I went through a period of serious burnout myself. Coming out the other side, and understanding afterwards exactly what helped and what didn't, and it's what led me here.
As part of my work and the coaching relationships I build, I am comfortable disclosing some of my somewhat negative experiences and the coping stragegies I have employed to not only heal but to have built a career that that no longer feels like a job. For here, I will simply highlight the importance of mindsets and how we frame certain experiences.
I combine that lived experience with a Diploma in Counselling Skills and being registered coroprate Mental Health First Aider. Everything I share is grounded in guidance from the Health and Safety Executive, NICE and the World Health Organization. I'm not a clinician, and nothing I offer replaces professional treatment when someone genuinely needs it — but I know, from the inside, what it takes to come back from real pressure and build something that lasts.
We exist to help people and organisations understand pressure, respond to it deliberately, and recover from it properly.
Pressure is inevitable. It cannot be engineered out of a workplace worth working in. What can change is whether people have the awareness, the skill and the support to meet it well — and whether the organisations around them are honest about which parts of the pressure are theirs to fix. That is the work. Not removing pressure. Teaching people and organisations to handle it better than they currently do.
Every claim I make about stress, resilience or performance traces back to HSE, NICE, WHO, ONS or CIPD — not to a slogan. If I can't source it, I don't say it.
Nobody in a room full of managers needs "cognitive appraisal theory." They need "your interpretation of the event matters too." My job is to do that translation work so they don't have to.
Every talk, workshop and coaching conversation leaves people with something they can use before they've left the room — not just something to think about.
I provide workplace education, coaching and practical strategy. I do not diagnose, treat, or provide psychotherapy, and I say so plainly, every time, before anyone has to ask.
Individual coping skills matter, but they are not a substitute for fixing workload, culture, management practice or role clarity. I won't let resilience training become a way of avoiding harder organisational questions.
Credibility comes from delivering well, not from claiming big numbers before there's proof behind them. Testimonials and results lead; price follows.
Boundaries, rest and genuine downtime aren't a reward for finishing the work — they're part of doing it well and sustainably. I hold myself to this as much as anyone I work with.
